French Club Celebrates the Holidays

By Languages and Cultural Studies Department Co-Chair Cynthia Marker
French Club Presidents and juniors Suhani Aggarwal and Anna Swanson organized a delightful French holiday celebration in the TIDES Garage on the Tuesday before break.

With the generous assistance of ILIS Specialist and Middle and Upper School Librarian Annette Lesak, students decorated laser-cut ornaments while listening to French carols and engaging in one of our favorite pastimes: eating French treats! It was a delightful way to close out French Club meetings for this calendar year. We look forward to ringing in 2023 at our next gathering.

A reminder that French Club is open to all Upper Schoolers and a way to celebrate Francophone traditions and cultures around the world. If you have an idea for a future gathering, please do not hesitate to contact French Club faculty sponsors Lorin Pritikin or myself.

Joyeuses fêtes à tout le monde et très bonne année!
